A modern interpretation of the war newsreels that were shown in American theaters throughout the Second World War, this served as a teaser for the documentary on the Collings Foundation, Preserving the Past (2009).

As part of the 2017 Boston Marathon weekend, Runner's World magazine set up a pop-up store on Boylston Street to host a series of events and speakers. On Saturday, April 15th, they presented a panel "Leading Ladies." Five of the true pioneers of womens' running spoke about their experiences before the assembled crowd: Julia Chase Brand, Bobbi Gibb, Sara Mae Berman, Cheryl Bridges Treworgy, and Patti Catalano Dillon. The panel was moderated by writer-runner Amby Burfoot, author of First Ladies of Running."
