Windhover Center for the Perfoming Arts has been a Cape Ann summer staple since 1968. Founded in 1966 by dancer-choreographer Ina Hahn and her husband, Herbert, Windhover is host to the annual Summer Dance Intensive Workshops, visiting dance companies in public performances, and other activities, May to September. Among the notable annual events is Quarry Dance, now in its ninth year, featuring the Dušan Týnek Dance Theatre
